India Coronavirus Cases Update: Once again there has been a decline in corona cases in the country. According to the latest report of the Union Health Ministry, 174 new cases of infection have been reported in the last 24 hours, while active cases have come down from 3,343 to 3,193. The ministry has said in the data updated at 8 am that two people have died from Corona. With this, the death toll has increased to 5,31,882. The total number of Covid cases has also been recorded at 4.49 crore.
Active cases now comprise 0.01 percent of total infections, according to the health ministry's website.
According to the ministry, there has been an increase in the number of people recovering from the disease. The national corona recovery rate has been recorded at 98.81 percent. The death rate has also now gone up to 1.18 percent. According to the website of the ministry, 220.66 crore doses of Covid vaccine have been given so far in the country under the nationwide vaccination campaign.
