The series of bomb threats to schools in the national capital, Delhi, is not stopping. On Thursday, Delhi schools once again received bomb threats. It is being reported that six schools including Dwarka Sector-5 and Prasad Nagar in Delhi, have received bomb threats by sending an email. Delhi Police and Fire Department reached the spot as soon as the information was received. As a precaution, the school premises have been evacuated. Children have been sent back home.
According to the Delhi Fire Department, information has been received about bomb threats in schools at different places. Since then, the Delhi Police and Fire Team are present at the spot. Police and other emergency agencies have started the search operation. Six schools including Andhra Education Society Senior Secondary School located in Prasad Nagar, BGS International Public School located in Dwarka Sector 5, Rao Man Singh Senior Secondary School located in Chhawla, Maxfort School located in Dwarka Sector 1 and Indraprastha International School located in Dwarka Sector 10 received bomb threats today.
More than 55 schools received threats yesterday
Earlier on Wednesday, more than 55 schools in Delhi received bomb threats via email. These include Rahul Model School and Maxfort School in Dwarka, SKV in Malviya Nagar, and Andhra School in Prasad Nagar. Police and other emergency agencies launched a search operation. However, nothing suspicious was found after searching the school.
Earlier, on August 18, 32 schools in Delhi had received similar threats. Earlier, St. Thomas School in Dwarka, Delhi, and St. Stephen's College of Delhi University also received bomb threats. In May last year, too, schools received full mail. In May 2024, many schools, including DeepS Dwarka, received similar threatening emails
