On Monday evening, as usual, people were busy with their daily activities around the Red Fort. Some were shopping, others were busy with their shopping. Suddenly, at 6:52 p.m., a car exploded at the Subhash Marg red light. Several other vehicles parked nearby were also affected.

 

 

The explosion was so powerful that people present there were frightened, and many of those around the car were caught in the blast. Approximately 10 people died and more than 20 were injured. Delhi Metro

 

Millions of people travel by the Delhi Metro daily. Some go to work, some to school, college, etc. However, due to the blast that occurred yesterday near Gate No. 1 of the Red Fort Metro Station, and for security reasons, the Red Fort Metro Station has been completely closed for the time being. Previously, Gates No. 1 and 4 were closed. However, the rest of the Metro in Delhi is operating as usual.

 

Chandni Chowk

 

Last evening, due to the explosion in a car outside Gate No. 1 of the Red Fort Metro Station, the Chandni Chowk market was temporarily closed. As a result, shops will remain closed today and business will be completely halted. Market Association President Sanjay Bhargava said, "Chandni Chowk market will remain closed on Tuesday following the explosion near the Red Fort.

 

What happened that evening?

 

Last evening, a car exploded outside Gate No. 1 of the Red Fort Metro Station. Within minutes, power went out in the surrounding areas. Shopkeepers began closing their shops, and panic gripped the Chandni Chowk market. Reports so far have confirmed 10 deaths and over 20 injuries.
