They remained silent on the party's decision, but did not campaign for the candidate contesting from their seat. In Timarpur, AAP gave ticket to Surendra Singh Bittu, who had come from BJP, for whom AAP workers refused to work.

This situation continued till the voting. In Shahdara too, most of Ramniwas Goyal's supporters could not join the candidate Jitendra Singh Shanti. Talking about other seats, a similar situation prevailed in Palam, Kasturba Nagar, Mehrauli, Deoli, Mustafabad, Adarsh ​​Nagar, etc. seats, where your candidate had to bear the loss caused by your MLAs.

 

Pawan Sharma from Adarsh ​​Nagar, Dharampal Lakra from Mundka, Rajesh Rishi from Janakpuri, BS June from Bijwasan, Bhavana Gaur from Palam, Rohit Mehraulia from Trilokpuri, Madan Lal from Kasturba Nagar and Naresh Yadav from Mehrauli are now in BJP.

 

Prakash Jarwal from Deoli and Haji Yunus from Mustafabad are also among those whose tickets were cut. Due to fear of losing the seat, the ticket of Hari Nagar MLA Raj Kumari Dhillon was cut at the last moment. She contested the election as an independent. Angry at not getting the ticket, former party MLA from Ghonda Shridutt Sharma joined BJP.
