Delhi Pollution: Gopal Rai's appeal to work from home, said - refrain from traveling in private vehicles

The level of pollution in the country's capital Delhi is continuously increasing. Delhi Environment Minister Gopal Rai on Wednesday said the people of Delhi are responsible for the national capital's poor air quality.

 

Delhi government minister Gopal Rai has appealed to the public to work from home if possible. Also, avoid traveling in private vehicles. 50 percent of pollution in Delhi is caused by vehicles. He also said that people should not burst crackers.

 

 

During this, he attacked the central government. He said that the central government is not supporting the Punjab government. Because of this stubble is being burnt there. Farmers should stop burning stubble.

 

Delhi Environment Minister Gopal Rai said that the central government should apologize to the farmers for their mistake. Because of you, stubble is burning in Punjab today. When farmers were ready, the Punjab government was ready, Delhi government was ready, if you had cooperated, today the incidence of stubble in Punjab would have been halved.

 

Gopal Rai said that the level of pollution has increased at different places inside Delhi for two days. The level of AQI has also increased in UP and Haryana. Gopal Rai said that I request the UP and Haryana governments to form a regional special task force to reduce air pollution in areas adjoining Delhi like Gurugram, Faridabad, Ghaziabad, and Noida. I do The problem of pollution is not the problem of the state. This is due to the evolving air system.

 

The air quality in Delhi remained in the 'very poor category on Wednesday morning as well. The Air Quality Index (AQI) of the city was recorded at 354.

The AQI was recorded at 406 in Noida. Noida's air has remained in the 'severe' category. While Gurugram's AQI stood at 346. The air here is made in the 'very poor category.
