The Aam Aadmi Party government, which is preparing for the Delhi Municipal Corporation elections 2022, suffered a major setback on Friday. Lieutenant Governor Vinay Kumar Saxena (Delhi LG VK Saxena) has ordered the removal of Jasmine Shah, Vice Chairperson of the Dialogue and Development Commission of Delhi (DDCD) from her post.

the office will also be sealed

On the other hand, in the latest order issued by Lieutenant Governor Vinay Kumar Saxena, a direction has also been issued to seal the office of the vice-chairman of DDCD. Probably after some time, the office will be sealed.

This order of LG is being considered a big blow for Arvind Kejriwal because he had praised Jasmine Shah a few months ago and had indicated not to remove her. LG is the administrator of Delhi, so Arvind Kejriwal has to follow his order.

Significantly, Bharatiya Janata Party MP Pravesh Verma had accused Jasmine Shah of acting like an Aam Aadmi Party worker while holding a government post. In this regard, he was continuously attacking the Delhi government on the pretext of Jasmine Shah.

It is being told that Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena has accused Jasmine Shah of misusing the post for political purposes. Let us tell you that some time ago, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal claimed that the LG did not have the right to act in the DDCD case. He argued that Jasmine Shah has been appointed by the cabinet, so only the cabinet can take action.

CM will have to implement LG's order

According to the information received, Delhi Lieutenant Governor Vinay Kumar Saxena has asked CM Arvind Kejriwal to remove Jasmine Shah from the post of Vice-Chairman of DDCD for misusing her office for political purposes. In a letter issued by the Lieutenant Governor's office, the office of DDCD has also been ordered to be sealed. LG is the administrator of Delhi, so Arvind Kejriwal will have to follow his order.
