Lok Sabha Election 2024: Consensus reached in MVA on seat sharing in Maharashtra, know who will contest on how many seats

Seat sharing has been announced in Mahavikas Aghadi. In Maharashtra, Shiv Sena (Uddhav faction) will contest 21 seats, NCP, SCP on 10 seats and Congress on 17 seats.

When are the elections in Maharashtra?

NCP (SP) chief Sharad Pawar, Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Uddhav Thackeray, and state Congress president Nana Patole announced the electoral pact for 48 parliamentary seats in the state at a press conference here after weeks of talks. Lok Sabha elections will be held in the state in five phases between April 19 and May 20.

 

Elections are going to be held on 48 Lok Sabha seats in Maharashtra. Voting for the Lok Sabha elections to be held in seven phases will begin on April 19. The counting of votes will take place on June 4.
