On the occasion of the completion of 75 years of adoption of the Constitution, the Central Government is going to start a year-long program on Tuesday. The campaign 'Hamara Samvidhaan, Hamara Swabhiman', will start with a program organized in the old Parliament House, which will be addressed by President Draupadi Murmu. Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, and Union Ministers along with members of both Houses of Parliament will be present in the program.

The Constituent Assembly adopted the Constitution on 26 November 1949. It was later implemented on 26 January 1950.

The Preamble of the Constitution will be recited collectively in schools across the country.

The government on Monday announced that a website - 'Constitution75.com' has been created to connect citizens with the legacy of the Constitution. Union Culture Secretary Arunish Chawla told reporters at the National Media Center that the Preamble of the Constitution will be recited collectively in schools across the country.

The first meeting of the Constituent Assembly was held on 9 December 1946 in the Central Hall of the Old Parliament House in Delhi.

Commemorative coins and postage stamps will also be released.

Chawla said that on this historic occasion, a program will be organized in the Central Hall of the Old House of Parliament, which will be presided over by President Murmu, while Prime Minister Modi will be the special guest. Vice President Dhankhar and Lok Sabha Speaker Birla will also attend the function. A commemorative coin and postage stamp will also be released on this occasion.

PM Modi will not address this program: Rijiju.

After the Union Culture Secretary, Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju and two other Union Ministers Arjun Ram Meghwal and Gajendra Singh Shekhawat also interacted with the media. Responding to a question, Rijiju said that Prime Minister Modi will not address this program. He accused the opposition parties of reacting without correct information. He said that the President of India, Vice President, and Lok Sabha Speaker will address the program.

Rijiju also said, 'We have made arrangements for the opposition leaders of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha to sit on the stage. Such reactions without knowing anything are condemnable on a very serious occasion.'

India Alliance leaders wrote a letter to the Lok Sabha Speaker.

His remarks came after the leaders of the parties involved in the India Alliance wrote a letter to the Lok Sabha Speaker requesting him to allow the opposition leaders of both Houses to address the Constitution Day celebrations.
