Paris Olympics Day 4 Schedule: Manu-Sarabjot will be responsible for getting medals, and archers are expected to do better

The third day of the Paris Olympics was a mixed one for India. On Monday, Manu Bhaker and Sarabjot Singh qualified for the final of the 10m air pistol mixed team event, which has raised hopes of another medal on the fourth day. The Indian team could not win any medals on the third day, but the shooters will once again have a chance to win a medal for the country on Tuesday.

 

Indian players will also be challenged in hockey and badminton.

The Indian men's hockey team played a 1-1 draw with Rio Olympics champion Argentina in a Pool B match on Monday and now it will face Ireland on Tuesday. At the same time, in badminton, the men's doubles pair of Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty and the women's doubles pair of Tanisha Crasto and Ashwini Ponnappa will also play in their respective group matches. Three Indians will be challenged in boxing, which includes one male and two female boxers.

- Trap Women's Qualification (Day 1): Shreyasi Singh, Rajeshwari Kumari (from 12:30 pm)

- 10m Air Pistol Mixed Team Bronze Medal Match: India vs Korea- Manu Bhaker/Sarabjot Singh and Wonho Lee/Jin Ye Oh: (from 1 pm)

 

Hockey

- India vs Ireland Pool-B Match: (from 4:45 pm)

 

Archery

- Women's Individual 1/32 Elimination Round: Ankita Bhakat vs Violta Miszor (Poland)- (from 5:15 pm)

- Women's Individual 1/32 Elimination Round: Bhajan Kaur vs Sifa Nurfifa Kamal (Indonesia)- (from 5:30 pm)

- Men's Individual 1/32 Elimination Round: Dheeraj Bommedwara vs Adam Lee (Czech Republic)- (10:45 PM IST)
