Chennai made the winner in IPL

Just a few days ago, Dhoni made Chennai Super Kings the winner for the fourth time under his captaincy in IPL 2021. He joined Team India soon after the IPL was over. India's first match is going to be against Pakistan. This match will be played on 24 October. Before this, Team India has to play two warm matches.

Both the matches are with two strong teams. Virat's team has to play the first warm-up match against England and the second match against Australia. Dhoni's experience will be needed the most in these matches. He can test his weakness and strength by watching the game of the team and before the match against Pakistan, Team India can also correct his weakness.

Dhoni's experience can come in handy for Virat

The appointment of Mahi as a mentor for tournaments like the World Cup is considered a big positive step for Indian cricket. Dhoni retired from international cricket on 15 August 2020.

India had made it to the final of the 2017 ICC Champions Trophy, the semi-finals of the 2019 ODI World Cup, and the final of the World Test Championship played this year. However, the team had to face defeat in all the knockout matches. This time Dhoni's experience can be very useful for the team and Captain Kohli in important matches like knockouts.
