Amidst the recent crisis at IndiGo Airlines, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has clearly stated that the purpose of making rules and regulations should be to improve the system, not to harass ordinary Indian citizens. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju shared this information on Wednesday, citing the Prime Minister's statement during a meeting of NDA MPs.

The Prime Minister's remarks come at a time when reports of technical glitches and delays in several IndiGo flights are making headlines. Passengers are facing hours of waiting at airports, and many flights are being cancelled.

What did PM Modi say?

According to Kiren Rijiju, the Prime Minister said in the meeting that we must ensure that any rules made strengthen the administration and make people's lives easier, not more difficult. The Prime Minister emphasized that any policy or rule directly affects the common man, and therefore, sensitivity is crucial.
