Indeed, due to the activation of two western disturbances, light rain and snowfall are expected in the hilly states from February 26th to 28th and then again from March 2nd to 3rd. However, the impact will not be felt significantly in the plains.

 

 

Temperatures may increase by 2 to 3 degrees in many states from Maharashtra to Eastern India and Northwest India. Temperatures will rise sharply from Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, to Madhya Pradesh, increasing the heat.

 

 

In addition, rain is expected in three states in North India and two in South India. The states where rain is expected include Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Telangana, and Karnataka. Scattered light rain is expected in Jammu and Kashmir on February 26 and 27, and in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand on February 27 and 28. Thunderstorms and lightning are expected in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands on February 26.

 

 

How will the weather be in Delhi-NCR today?

The weather in Delhi-NCR is expected to be clear today, February 26. The day will be sunny. The maximum temperature is expected to be between 30 and 32 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature will be between 13 and 15 degrees Celsius. Overall, Delhi-NCR will experience moderate heat today. There is no possibility of rain in Delhi today.

 

 

Weather in Uttar Pradesh

Speaking of the weather in Uttar Pradesh, there is no possibility of rain today. Most districts will experience sunny skies. Temperatures will rise. The districts in Uttar Pradesh where the mercury is expected to rise include Kanpur, Meerut, Lucknow, Agra, Aligarh, Etawah, Mainpuri, Mathura, Amethi, Azamgarh, Amroha, Baghpat, Bahraich, Ballia, and Balrampur.

 

 

Weather in Madhya Pradesh

According to the Meteorological Department, temperatures are expected to rise in many districts of Madhya Pradesh starting today, increasing the heat. The districts in Madhya Pradesh where temperatures are expected to exceed 35 degrees Celsius include Bhopal, Gwalior, Jabalpur, Satna, Indore, Ratlam, Balaghat, Chhindwara, Rewa, Morena, Bhind, and Betul. Currently, there is no rain alert here.

 

 

Weather in Rajasthan

There is no rain alert in Rajasthan either. However, temperatures may rise. According to the IMD, the weather will remain dry and sunny throughout the state today, February 26th. The districts where the heat will increase include Ajmer, Alwar, Bharatpur, Bikaner, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Udaipur, Gangapur City, Jaisalmer, and Shahpur.

 

 

Weather in Bihar

Speaking of the weather in Bihar, there is no possibility of rain here either. The temperature may rise, leading to a fierce heatwave. The capital Patna is expected to experience a maximum temperature of 29 degrees Celsius and a minimum temperature of 15 degrees Celsius today.

 

 

Weather in Uttarakhand

The weather in Uttarakhand is expected to deteriorate today. According to the IMD, scattered rain is expected in Dehradun, Nainital, Almora, Uttarkashi, Chamoli, Rudraprayag, Tehri, and Pithoragarh. The maximum temperature in the capital Dehradun will be 29 degrees Celsius, and the minimum temperature will be 15 degrees Celsius.

 

 

Weather in Himachal Pradesh

Speaking of the weather in Himachal Pradesh, a rain warning has been issued for February 27th and 28th. The districts where rain is expected include Bilaspur, Shimla, Mandi, Solan, and Kangra. Snowfall is expected in Manali and the surrounding high-altitude areas.

 

 

Rain is likely in Tamil Nadu and the Andaman and Nicobar Islands

 

Tamil Nadu's weather forecast is for rain in the capital, Chennai, and several surrounding districts until March 1. Furthermore, the Andaman and Nicobar Islands are expected to experience rain and lightning, accompanied by strong winds (30-40 kmph) today.
