Jio has told you that if 5G has been launched in your city then you can enjoy 5G. For this, you do not even need to buy a 5G SIM separately. Your existing 4G SIM will also support 5G connectivity. All you need is a 5 G-supported smartphone and an active plan of Rs 239 or above. These users will be given Jio 5G Welcome Offer benefits. Under this offer, Jio users will get unlimited 5G data and as much validity as the active base plan.

 

Airtel's 5G service

 

Airtel users can check the availability of the 5G network with the help of the Airtel Thanks app. To use Airtel's 5G service, it is necessary to have a 5G network in your area. Apart from this, you must also have a 5 G-compatible smartphone to use 5G services. Airtel has also confirmed that its existing 4G SIM is ready to support 5G. In this case, you do not need a new SIM to enjoy 5G services. You can activate 5G from your smartphone itself.

To activate 5G, go to the phone's settings.

 

Here you will be shown the Connections or Mobile Network option.

 

By going to this option, you will see the option to select the network mode as 5G/4G/3G/2G.

 

After selecting 5G, automatically 5G will start.
