The Indian team defeated New Zealand by four wickets with 12 balls remaining in the 20th match of the World Cup 2023 on Sunday. This was the fifth consecutive win in the tournament for the Rohit Sharma-led Indian team and it has become number 1 in the points table of the World Cup 2023.
In the match played in Dharamshala, New Zealand batted first and the entire team was all out after scoring 273 runs in 50 overs. In reply, India achieved the target by losing 6 wickets in 48 overs.
