This has been done by scientists from the Technical University of Denmark. This has converted the magnetic signals into sound signals, which are quite terrifying to hear. Earth's magnetic field is far below the surface. It extends down to about 3,000 km near the outer core. It contains extremely hot iron which is in liquid form and keeps on rotating. Its effect is visible even though it is far below the surface.
