A few days ago, former Congress President Rahul Gandhi (Rahul Gandhi Death Threat) had given a statement in America regarding the Sikh community. This statement has created a political uproar. At the same time, many people in the Sikh community in the country have expressed their objection to Rahul Gandhi's statement.
At the same time, the BJP-backed Sikh cell protested outside Sonia Gandhi's residence in Delhi on Wednesday (September 11). During this protest (Sikh Community Protest), BJP leader Tarvinder Singh Marwah has been accused of threatening to kill Rahul Gandhi. Congress is considering filing an FIR against the BJP leader.
What threat has the BJP leader given to Rahul Gandhi?
Former MLA Tarvinder Singh had said, 'Rahul Gandhi, come back, otherwise in the coming time, you will also be in the same condition as your grandmother.' During this, the BJP Sikh Cell had said that Rahul Gandhi has insulted India and Sikhs in America. He defamed our country on foreign soil. He should apologize for this.
What did Rahul Gandhi say in America?
While interacting with members of the Indian community in Virginia, USA, Rahul Gandhi said that our fight is whether wearing turbans in India will be allowed and whether Sikhs will be able to go to Gurudwaras.
Rahul Gandhi said, "First of all, we have to understand what the fight is about. The fight is not about politics. It is superficial. The fight is about whether a Sikh will be allowed to wear a turban in India. Or whether a Sikh will be allowed to wear a Kada in India. Or whether he will be allowed to go to Gurudwara. The fight is about this and not just for them, but for all religions."
