The Paud police in Pune rural have registered a case against the Khedkar couple and five others under sections of the Indian Justice Code (BNS), including section 323 (dishonestly or fraudulently removing or concealing property) and relevant sections of the Arms Act.
Pune Rural Superintendent of Police Pankaj Deshmukh said, Manorama Khedkar has been detained from Mahad in Raigad district and is being brought to Pune, where she will be arrested after completing the formalities.
