Earthquake in Himachal's Chamba: Tremors felt 2 times; 3.70 rated intensity; No loss of life and property, panic among people

Earthquake tremors were felt in Himachal Pradesh's Chamba district late on Monday night. According to the Meteorological Center Shimla, there were two tremors at 10.38 pm. Its intensity was measured at 3.70 on the reactor scale.

 

Fortunately, there was no loss of life or property, but the epicenter of the earthquake remained in the area adjacent to Bharmour. At the same time, its depth inside the ground remained up to 5 kilometers.

 

Earthquake tremors were also felt in nearby Bharmour, Killar, and Chamba. It is being told that some people had come out of their houses after 2 tremors.

 

Many areas of the state come under Seismic Zone-5

Let us inform you that many areas of Himachal Pradesh's Chamba, Kullu, Shimla, Kinnaur, and Kangra fall in the very sensitive Seismic Zone-5 from the point of view of the earthquake. Earthquake tremors are felt here again and again. After the devastation caused by the earthquake in Turkey a few days ago, the people of the state are scared and scared.
