IPL 2025: BCCI's tension increases due to a problem regarding an IPL match; schedule may be changed

Posted on 19th Mar 2025 11:15 am by rohit kumar

Only three days are left in IPL 2025. On March 22, the first match will be played between KKR and RCB at Eden Gardens in Kolkata. Fans are eagerly waiting for this match. Meanwhile, a problem has arisen regarding an IPL match, which has increased the tension of BCCI.

Remember that BCCI had released the schedule of IPL 2025 long ago. On the same day it was decided which match will be played on which day and where. In this schedule, an important match will be played in Kolkata on April 6, which will be between KKR and LSG. The special thing is that on this day i.e. April 6, there is also the festival of Ram Navami.

CAB informed BCCI

Meanwhile, news has come that the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) has asked the BCCI to make changes to this match. The report said that Kolkata Police has told CAB officials that Ram Navami is a big festival on 6 April, so adequate security arrangements will not be possible during the match on that day.

Discussion among top officials

According to the report, CAB President Snehasish Ganguly has discussed this with the police and other officials. In this discussion, the police officials have made it clear that due to being busy in Ram Navami, proper security arrangements will not be possible. However, Ganguly expressed hope that the picture will be clear soon regarding this matter.

BCCI is trying to find a solution

BCCI has confirmed that CAB has given information about this and all possibilities are being considered. Soon some solution will be found. Let us tell you that last year also the match was scheduled in Kolkata on the day of Ram Navami, but later it was also changed. It will be interesting to see what happens this time.
