Lucknow, Jan 30 (IANS) The Online 'darshan' facility would soon be unveiled at the famous Kashi Vishwanath temple in Varanasi, an official of the Uttar Pradesh government said Friday.
The arrangements are being made and would be implemented by next month end, the official said, adding that Religious Affairs Minister Vijay Mishra has also asked the officials to study the management styles of Tirupati Balaji and Sai temple in Shirdi and establish 'hundi' (donation boxes) accordingly.
A website of the temple would also be launched.
As of now, the Kashi Vishwanath temple makes an income of Rs.5-6 crore annually.
At a recent meeting it was decided that no structural changes would be made inside the temple premises without the approval of the state government and that the CCTV footage should be screened everyday by the competent officials and a report be submitted to the chief executive officer (CEO) of the temple.
