After the assassination attempt on former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan, his supporters have taken to the streets. There are fierce protests against the government regarding the deadly attack on Imran Khan. Protesters have affected traffic in Islamabad. Meanwhile, the police administration has requested them not to set vehicles on fire.

Attack on Allahwala Chowk in Wazirabad

Former Prime Minister Imran Khan was shot dead on Thursday evening when he was taking out the freedom march in his container. This freedom march was at Allahwala Chowk in Wazirabad. Then there was a deadly attack on him.

 

Identity of the deceased killed in the shootout

In the latest developments, the Punjab Police has confirmed that seven people were injured and one person was killed in the firing incident. According to the police, the deceased has been identified as Muazzam Nawaz. The suspected shooter who opened fire during the rally has been apprehended by the Punjab Police. The attacker admitted that he wanted to kill Imran Khan as 'he is misleading the public.

The confession of the attacker has gone viral in the internet media. On this, he is seen saying, 'I conspired against Imran Khan when he started his long march from Lahore. I decided not to leave him alive.' On this, the police asked the question of whether anyone else was also involved in this conspiracy. The shooter replied saying that I alone have hatched this conspiracy and no one else is involved in it. I came on a bike and I parked it at my uncle's shop. He has a motorcycle showroom.
