Prayagraj: The national river called Mokshadayini and Jeevandayini is well aware of the merits of the water of the Ganges, but now it is being claimed that the epidemic of Corona can be avoided by using Gangajal. Arun Gupta, the Ganges affairs expert and Amicus Curie Advocate of Allahabad High Court, claims that by drinking Gangajal, corona can be defeated not only by increasing the immunity of the body, but also by eliminating the corona like all other viruses present in it. Can get rid of this disease. This means that Ganga water can work as a medicine for the patients of Corona. On the back of this claim, he has cited the results of all the research conducted around the world on Ganga water. On the recommendation of the National Mission for Clean Ganga, the ICMR i.e. Indian Council of Medical Research has also taken a presentation of Arun Gupta's team on this claim.

How much truth is there in the claim of treatment of corona through Ganga water, it will be known only after the report of ICMR or other institutions comes out, but it can be said that in this period of epidemic, this claim will be a ray of hope. But it is definitely visible. This claim cannot be ignored directly because the person claiming it is known as an expert on Ganga affairs. Allahabad High Court Senior Advocate Arun Gupta is not only the amicus curiae in Ganga pollution cases, but he is also associated with all government and non-governmental organizations working for the betterment of Ganga. He has also played an important role in getting the status of the national river to the Ganges, and at the same time he has also decided the draft of the proposed Ganga Act. From Uttarakhand to Uttar Pradesh, he has played a big role in changing the appearance of Ganga. When former Union Minister Uma Bharti was the head of the Ganga ministry, he was one of his special advisors.

'Bacteriophage' occurs in Ganges water

However, now the matter of that claim has been made by Arun Gupta. The claim is that by using Gangajal extracted from Gangotri in Uttarakhand, corona can be defeated by increasing the immunity power of the body. That is, by strengthening immunity, not only can Corona be fought, but it can also be defeated. Claim is not limited here. It is also being said that if someone has got corona, then they can get relief from this disease by drinking Ganges water. That is, Ganga water will work as a medicine in the treatment of corona victims. According to Arun Gupta, in 2016, Poland University in USA, Stanford University in the year 2019 and India's National Environmental Engineering Research Institute, Nagpur, in research conducted in the year 2007 and 2007 have found that with all radio active elements in Gangajal Also, a virus named Bacterio phage is found which not only kills all the bacteria present in the Ganges water, but also destroys all other viruses found in it. According to him, the amount of oxygen in Ganga water is very high. Along with this, the elements found in it - magnesium - calcium - zinc and ferrous like elements increase the immunity of the body rapidly. When the immunity increases, the effect of the corona becomes negligible. In addition, the bacteriophage attacks the virus directly and destroys its RNA i.e., robo nucleic acid. Corona also remains in the crystallized form of RNA, so it can also be eliminated through Ganges water.

Arun Gupta, with his claim, sent a letter to the President-Prime Minister and the NMCG last month, appealing for an in-depth research on this and exploring the possibility of ending the corona by making drugs from Gangajal based on the research results. On the basis of the letter sent on 23 January, the NMCG had asked the ICMR to ascertain the reality of this claim. According to Arun Gupta, on the recommendation of NMCG, ICMR also took a presentation of his team on 30 April. Lawyer Arun Gupta has said that he will go to the High Court regarding this claim. He says that if research is not done on the elimination of corona through Ganga water, then he will file an application in the High Court.

Sadhus and saints also believe that there is a medicinal element in the Ganges water

All the people are very excited by this claim of lawyer Arun Gupta. To give the basis for this claim, he is also arguing that the cases of corona in Gangetic states and cities are very less. Most of those cases are also due to migrants from other states. On the other hand, even the sage saints of Prayagraj believe that there is something special in the Ganges water that does not allow its water to deteriorate for a long time. Ganga Sena convener Swami Anand Giri says that Ganga is called Mokshadayini and Jeevandayini only because of its water features. According to him, there are many medicinal elements in the Ganges, which are very beneficial for the life and health of the people, although they are not ready to accept the claim of treatment of corona from Ganges water without any authentic research. They say that the consumption of Ganga water increases the immunity of the body, but it is important to research scientists and experts on the claim of treatment of corona. According to him, many people are struggling with Corona. In such a situation, the government should do research on Ganga water and keep its truth in front of the world.

Many people have made claims of treatment of corona through Ganga water even before this. The country is struggling with the corona epidemic these days. Despite all the research going on around the world, the chances of its vaccine are not seen so far. In such a situation, this claim is like a ray of hope for all people. If treatment of corona is possible through Ganga water, then it will also be very cheap. In such a situation, the need of authentic and scientific research is first, through which the reality of this claim can be ascertained.
