According to the BJP's election expenditure report, it spent the maximum amount of Rs 221 crore in UP, Rs 23 crore in Manipur, Rs 43.67 crore in Uttarakhand, over Rs 36 crore in Punjab, and Rs 19 crore in Goa.
Similarly, in the report filed by the Congress, it has been said that it spent Rs 194 crore in the elections and related works of the above five states. Congress and BJP have recognized parties.
