New Delhi, Jan 16 (IANS) Traditional handcrafted glass bangles from a small town in Uttar Pradesh and works by weavers from Rajasthan, along with an array of objects are being exhibited at an annual craft festival that began here Friday.
The second edition of "Design Fair" - organised by Dastkar, an organisation supporting traditional Indian craftspeople, has brought handloom textiles, regional embroidery, garments, jewellery, accessories, decorative objects and furniture to the bazaar.
The fair is at Nature Bazaar, Andheria Modh in south Delhi and will be on till Jan 27.
Artisans from the small town of Purdilnagar in Uttar Pradesh have displayed vibrant glass bangles and beads and an exquisite range of jewellery at the fair.
Handwoven rugs and floor cushions, and textiles have been brought by a weaving community of Ajmer district of Rajasthan.
