The clash between Indian and Chinese soldiers on 9 December

Indian and Chinese soldiers clashed on the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in the Tawang sector on 9 December 2022. Some personnel from both sides suffered minor injuries in the face-off. After the skirmish, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said in a statement in both houses of Parliament that Indian soldiers gave a befitting reply to China. The Galvan incident was another incident that strained India-China relations.
