'UP government and CM Yogi are responsible', said Congress leader Ajay Rai on Jhansi Medical College accident

10 newborn babies died due to a massive fire in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Jhansi Medical College last night. Statements of leaders of political parties have been coming out continuously since this accident. Let us tell you that PM Modi has also expressed grief over this accident. At the same time, the reaction of UP Congress State President Ajay Rai has also come to the fore. Ajay Rai said while talking to the media that this is a very sad incident. I express my condolences. I think many such incidents have happened in Uttar Pradesh.

Ajay Rai also said that this happened in Varanasi as well. This government is only ordering an inquiry. Yogi Adityanath is doing politics of hatred by going all over the country. The people of Uttar Pradesh have given him the responsibility to take care of the people and help them. But this is not happening. Only politics of hatred is happening. People are being harassed. Work is not being done. This government is being run by officers. The Uttar Pradesh government and CM Yogi himself are responsible for this (fire accident).

What did the Chief Medical Superintendent say?

Chief Medical Superintendent of Jhansi Medical College Sachin Mahor said that the fire broke out due to a short circuit. At that time 49 children were admitted there. 39 children were rescued. The condition of all the children is stable. 10 children have died in the incident, out of which 3 children have not been identified yet.

This is sad and worrying: Akhilesh Yadav.

SP chief Akhilesh Yadav also said about the Jhansi accident that it is sad and worrying. Sympathetic tribute to everyone. The cause of the fire is being told to be a fire in the 'oxygen concentrator'. This is a direct case of negligence of medical management and administration or of poor quality oxygen concentrator. Punitive action should be taken against all the responsible people in this case. The Chief Minister should leave the election campaign, leave the false claims of 'everything being fine', and focus on the plight of health and medicine.

'Government should help the victims in every possible way'

BSP supremo Mayawati posted on Instagram that the uproar and anger are natural due to the extremely sad incident of the death of 10 newborns due to a fire in Maharani Laxmibai Medical College in Jhansi, UP. Strict legal punishment is necessary for the culprits for such fatal negligence. It is impossible to compensate for such incidents, yet the government must help the affected families in every possible way.
