Contact cut off in many areas
In Himachal Pradesh, Atal Tunnel, Koksar, Darcha, and Rorik have received one foot of snow each. Due to this, the contact of Lahaul with Manali and Spiti with Kinnaur was cut off. Avalanche in Lahul Spiti stopped the flow of the Chandrabhaga river for two hours. A drop in the minimum temperature has also been recorded.

An Avalanche alert has been issued in areas above three thousand meters. In Himachal too, a warning of rain and snow with strong winds and hailstorms has been issued in all the districts on Tuesday. The weather is expected to remain the same in the Valley for the next 24 hours.
