Good news: Gujarat government's big announcement, dearness allowance for government employees increased by 3 percent

On the occasion of the foundation day of Gujarat, the state government has given a bumper gift to its employees. Under which dearness allowance for state government employees has been increased by three percent. Government employees and pensioners of Gujarat state will get the benefit of increased DA from July 01, 2021. This benefit is available under the 7th Pay Commission. According to government data, the number of employees and pensioners of this category in Gujarat is 9.38 lakh.

 

 

Arrears will be paid in two installments

 

The state government informed that the arrears of the last 10 months of all the employees would be paid in two equal installments. The first installment of arrears for the first five months will be added to the salary and pension of May 2022. The second installment of the arrears for the subsequent five months will be given along with the salary for June 2022. In this way, from May, the beneficiary employees and pensioners will start getting more money than before.
