He said that no terror angle of this boat has come to the fore in the investigation so far. He said that the name of this boat is Lady Han and its owner is a woman from Australia. Devendra Fadnavis told that the captain of this boat is the husband of the woman. This boat was going from Muscat to Europe and during this time its engine broke down. In this situation, the people aboard the boat made a distress call and the Korean ship rescued these people.

After this, the boat slowly came and hit the shore. Due to high tide, this boat could not be pulled out during that time. He said that as of now no terror angle has been found, but the festive season is going on and we have put everyone on alert. We have got concrete information about the boat. Due to high tide, the boat came here after being swept away from Oman. Maharashtra Home Minister Devendra Fadnavis said that this boat was going from Muscat to Europe. He said that no terror angle has come to the fore in this so far, but we are investigating in every way. Nothing can be dismissed outright.

Before Fadnavis, Raigad SP Ashok had informed that the police had found a suspicious boat from Harihareshwar beach. When the boat was searched, a rifle, live cartridges, and ammunition were recovered from it. Mumbai Police has started an investigation. On the other hand, police sources believe that it is Ganesh Chaturthi on August 31, and lakhs of people reach this area of Raigad for Ganesh Visarjan.

NIA team also left for investigation, police on alert

In such a situation, because of all the aspects, the police have issued a high alert in the Raigad area. There are media reports that in the case, ATS Chief Vineet Aggarwal said that the meeting of the suspicious boat in Raigad could be part of a terrorist conspiracy. He said that the boat can also come from any other country. At present, a team of three members of NIA has also been sent to Raigad.
