Rahmanullah Gurbaz played an innings of 76 runs in 45 balls for the Afghan team. Apart from him, Ibrahim Zadran scored 70 runs. In response, the Ugandan team was all out for 58 runs. Fazalhaq Farooqi destroyed the batting order of Uganda by taking five wickets for the Afghan team.

The Gurbaz-Ibrahim pair performed brilliantly and based on their stormy innings, Afghanistan scored 183 runs in 20 overs.
