Indian-American singer and entrepreneur Chandrika Tandon has won the Grammy Award in the Best New Age, Ambient, or Chant Album category for the album Triveni. The 67th edition of the biggest music awards ceremony organized by the Recording Academy was held at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on Sunday.
Chandrika expressed happiness
Chandrika is also a global business leader and the elder sister of former PepsiCo CEO Indra Nooyi. She won the award along with her colleagues South African flutist Wouter Kellerman and Japanese cellist Iru Matsumoto. The Chennai-born musician expressed his happiness after winning the Grammy Award. He said in an interview with the Recording Academy that it feels amazing.

Other nominees in the Best New Age, Ambient, or Chant Album category include Break of Dawn by Ricky Kej, Opus by Ryuichi Sakamoto, Chapter 2: How Dark It Is Before Dawn by Anoushka Shankar, and Warriors of Light by Radhika Vekariya.
