The GST Council, led by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, has given a big relief to the common people of the country by reforming the tax. After the GST reforms, there will now be only two slabs instead of four. Meanwhile, Congress MP Shashi Tharoor's reaction has come to the fore on GST reforms.

 

Actually, in recent times, the central government has given a big relief to the countrymen through the GST reform. After these reforms, there will be only two GST slabs of five percent and 18 percent instead of four slabs. The new reforms are going to be implemented from September 22.

Meanwhile, on GST reforms, Congress MP Shashi Tharoor said Now I think this is a fairer system and we hope it will be better for everyone.

 

Shashi Tharoor said that in the Congress party, we have been demanding this for many years. I think our leaders are emphasizing the need to reduce the rates from four to at least two, or ideally one, a day, because it is really unfair to the people.

Tharoor said that when there were four rates, it was confusing and difficult. People were not happy with it. So now I think this is a fairer system, and we hope it will be better for everyone.
