71st National Film Awards: 71st National Film Awards to be presented today; President Murmu to honour

The winners of the National Film Awards for the year 2023 were announced on August 1st. The winners will be honored today. President Draupadi Murmu will present the awards. The National Film Awards ceremony will be held at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi. This year, the list of winners includes actors Shah Rukh Khan, Rani Mukerji, and Vikrant Massey. Mohanlal will be honored with the Dadasaheb Phalke Award at the same ceremony.

 

Best Actor will be jointly awarded to Shah Rukh Khan and Vikram Massey for Jawaan (12th Fail). Best Actress will be awarded to Rani Mukerji for Sandesh Chatterjee vs Norway (12th Fail). Best Feature Film will be awarded to 12th Fail (12th Fail), and Best Direction will be awarded to Sudipto Sen for The Kerala Story (12th Fail).

 

Awards will also be given in other categories. As usual, the National Film Awards will be held at Vigyan Bhawan, but this time the awards have been rescheduled to 4 p.m. In this, the Dadasaheb Phalke Award will be given to Malayalam film superstar Mohanlal. Due to the Covid pandemic, the National Film Awards are being given with a delay of 2 years.

Today at 4 pm, President Draupadi Murmu will present the National Film Awards to the winners of films released in the year 2023. Let us inform you that due to the COVID pandemic, the National Film Awards are being given with a delay of two years. The live broadcast of the National Film Awards ceremony can be seen on YouTube through the DD News channel. The broadcast will start at 3 pm, in which the winners will walk on the red carpet and receive the honor on the stage.
