Gujarat Titans fast bowler Mohammed Shami wreaked havoc with his pace at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Sunday. In front of Shami's speed, the most explosive batsman of IPL 2023, Jos Buttler of Rajasthan Royals was shocked. The fast bowler from Gujarat wreaked such havoc with the new ball that Butler could not even open his account.

Butler battered in front of Shami's pace

Mohammed Shami bowled brilliantly in two consecutive overs, which got him the reward of Butler's wicket. Butler, looking under pressure, tried to play a scoop shot off Shami's ball in an attempt to do something different.

However, Butler's one did not go ahead of Shami's pace and the ball took his fast off-stump. The speed of the ball was such that the stump fell twice in the air and went away. Seeing Shami's speed, Butler also lost his senses and he returned to the pavilion without opening the account.

Butler is out on zero for the second time

Rajasthan Royals opener Jos Buttler has returned to the pavilion for a duck for only the second time in the history of IPL. Butler was dismissed on zero only once in the year 2016. After facing 5 balls, Butler returned to the pavilion without opening the account against Gujarat.
