Guwahati-Bikaner Express Train accident: There has been a train accident in Domohani, Jalpaiguri. 12 bogies of Guwahati-bound Bikaner Express train (15633 (up)) got derailed at around 5 pm. Three passengers died and many others were injured in this accident. Relief and rescue work is going on. As soon as the information about the incident was received, local people reached the spot and started relief work.
Railway has issued a statement saying that 15633 trains derailed at around 5 pm. 12 coaches have been derailed. DRM and ADRM have left for the spot. Medical vans have also been sent.
People are being evacuated in the pictures that have come. Passengers say that the bogies of the train derailed after the shock. A passenger said, "Suddenly there was a jolt and the bogie of the train overturned. 2-4 coaches of the train have been completely damaged."
