Haryana government's big decision: Schools for children of class 10th to 12th will open from February 1

Amidst the growing threat of Corona, the Haryana government has decided to open schools for the children of class 10th to 12th from February 1. Only children who have received the first dose of the anti-Covid vaccine will get admission in schools. The Haryana government took this decision in a high-level meeting. The School Education Department will issue a detailed order soon.

 

 

On Monday, the government had shelved the proposal to open schools for classes IX-XII with 33 percent children. The School Education Department had prepared a proposal to organize classes for children according to the roster from January 28. The government will wait for the reduction of new cases of corona and completion of vaccination of school children of 15-18 years to start classes.

 

Education Minister Kanwar Pal Gurjar said that discussions are going on to open the school. In the hilly areas of the state like Morni, due to the lack of mobile networks, children are unable to study online. There are examinations in March, so the children must study. Because of this, a proposal to open the school was prepared. There was also a discussion on holding classes in three shifts a week.

 

A roster has been prepared to call 33-33 percent of children to school on Monday-Tuesday, Wednesday-Thursday, and Friday-Saturday. But, the corona infection has not subsided yet. So you can't put the lives of the children at risk. The opinion of health experts will also be taken. Only after that the final result of opening the school will be reached.

 

Schools are closed since January 1

Schools were closed from January 1 as the cases of Covid increased. Winter holiday till 12th January. After that, due to the increasing havoc of Covid, children's holidays have been done till 26 January. From January 13, a 50 percent roster has been implemented for teachers. They are doing online studies.
