High-level meeting on the security of Jammu and Kashmir: Amit Shah told the officers – to adopt the policy of zero tolerance against terrorism

Home Minister Amit Shah on Wednesday held a high-level meeting in Delhi on the issue of security and development of Leh-Ladakh and Jammu-Kashmir. Home Secretary, NIA, CRPF-BSF officers, and LG Manoj Sinha were present at this.

 

Amit Shah said that the policy of zero tolerance should be adopted against terrorism. He asked to complete the development works of Jammu and Kashmir on time. He also said that there is a need to dismantle the networks that aid and abet terrorists and separatists.

 

The meeting was called after an encounter between security forces and terrorists at Sidhra in Jammu on Wednesday morning. 4 terrorists were killed in this. Only after this, the Ministry of Home Affairs was alerted.

4 terrorists had come to Sidhra in a truck. As soon as the news of the terrorists came, the security forces surrounded them. Security forces have killed four terrorists. The truck in which the terrorists had come has also caught fire. Security forces have recovered a large number of weapons from the spot. 7 AK-47 rifles, 3 pistols, and ammunition have been recovered during the encounter. The truck owner has not been identified yet.

Four terrorists were killed by security forces in the Sidhra area of Jammu on Wednesday morning. Police said that the search operation is currently being conducted in the area. Some more terrorists are feared to be hiding.

 

Jammu and Kashmir Police DGP Dilbag Singh told that the terrorists were going toward Kashmir in a truck. It is possible that on or around January 26, they are going to carry out a big conspiracy. He told that a large number of ammunition was recovered from the truck which was seized.
