What was Sonam's plan?

Sonam and Raja got married on 11 May. On 16 May, 6 days after the wedding, Sonam, along with her lover Raj Kushwaha, finalized the plan to kill Raja. During this time, Sonam convinced Raja to go to Shillong for a honeymoon.
Ordered 'Daav' online
To kill Raja, 3 contract killers were already present in Guwahati, Assam. They ordered 'Daav' (small axe) online in Guwahati itself. Raja was murdered with this weapon. When Sonam and Raja reached Shillong, Sonam sent them the location and the accused were also staying in a hotel just 1 km away from them.
Sonam promised to give 20 lakh rupees.
The accused told the police that on 23 May, on the pretext of a photoshoot, Sonam took her husband Raja to the hill in the Korsa area. Sonam deliberately started walking behind them pretending to be tired. At the same time, the three accused were walking with Raja. In such a situation, when the accused got tired while climbing the hill, they refused to kill Raja. On this, Sonam took out 15 thousand rupees from Raja's purse and gave it to the accused, and said "You will have to kill him". Sonam also promised to give 20 lakh rupees after the work is done.

Sonam was walking a few steps behind Raja on the pretext of being tired. After a while, when she saw a deserted place, she shouted and said - kill him.
How did the police get a clue?
On Saturday, Meghalaya Police got a CCTV footage, in which Sonam was standing at a distance from Raja and chatting with someone on the phone. When the police searched Sonam's call records, they got a clue about the accused. The location of all the accused was found in Indore, immediately after which the police came into action mode.

After killing Raja, Sonam broke the phone. The accused also returned home by train after committing the crime. Sonam came alone from Shillong to Varanasi and then from there reached Ghazipur. During police interrogation, it was found that Sonam was trying to flee to Nepal via Banaras. However, when she came to know about the arrest of all the accused including her lover, she surrendered in Ghazipur.
