Home-stay policy in Haryana soon: Kanwarpal

On the occasion of World Environment Day, Haryana's Minister for Education, Tourism and Forests, Kanwarpal Gurjar, during a special talk, discussed about the three departments to be implemented and plans to be implemented in the present and future. Apart from this, the minister said that about one crore 15 lakh saplings are being planted in 1100 villages of the state.

 

Minister Kanwarpal is of the view that rural tourism should be promoted instead of hotels. In this episode, a home-stay policy will be brought in Haryana soon, in which people will make two-room sets in which people from other states will come and live here.

The cabinet minister said that today people are not only interested in forest or greenery but also to see how people do farming and how livestock are kept here and how milk is produced.

 

Slogan writing competition on bio diversity

Environment Day was celebrated by the Society of Environment Management and Bio Research at the Senior Citizen's Club in Yamunanagar in which former DFO Rajesh Gulia was the chief guest.

 

Society President Dr. KR Bhardwaj said that there are 49000 plant species in India which are spread in 69.36 million hectare forest area. Essay and slogan writing competition on the subject of bio diversity was also organized by the organization in which more than 50 environmental lovers of the state participated.

Target to plant one crore saplings in the state

 

Jagadhri (Nis): The main objective of celebrating World Environment Day is to make the public mind aware of the environment. Forest Minister Kanwar Pal Gurjar said these words after planting saplings at Manakpur Lakad Mandi on Friday. Kanwar Pal said that a target has been set to plant more than one crore trees in the state this year. On this occasion, Principal Chief Conservator of Forests Dr. Amarinder Kaur, Chief Conservator of Forests, North G. Foundation did plantation

Jagadhri (Nis): On Friday, World Environment Day, the organization Paryavaran Mitra Foundation planted saplings in the park of Hooda Sector-17 in which 21 plants of neem and drunken were planted. MP and MLA planted saplings

Kurukshetra (HP): On World Environment Day, MP Naib Singh Saini and Thanesar MLA Subhash Sudha planted saplings on the premises of Sector 7 District Horticulture Office on Friday. Subhash Sudha also planted saplings on Kurukshetra Pipli Road. Devidayal, chairman of the block committee, was also present on the occasion. Havan done in Gurukul

Kurukshetra (S): Havan and plantation were done in Gurukul Kurukshetra on the occasion of World Environment Day. A yagya was performed at the Arya Mahavidyalaya's Yagyashala under Acharya Satyaprakash, in which Chief Yajaman Gurukul's Principal Kulwant Singh Saini along with Director and Principal Colonel Arun Dutta were also present.
