IMD Rainfall Alert: Heavy rain in these states for the next 5 days, Meteorological Department warns

IMD Rainfall Alert, Weather Forecast: Winter has started in the hilly states and there is light snowfall in many places. On the other hand, in states like Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, and Bihar, the temperature remains normal during the day. Meanwhile, there are many such states, where heavy rains have increased the problems. The Meteorological Department (IMD) has informed us that the North-East Monsoon rains have started in areas of Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal, Coastal Andhra Pradesh from today (October 29).

 

The Meteorological Department said that the much-awaited North-East Monsoon made landfall in Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh on Saturday. Most of the rainfall in Tamil Nadu occurs during the northeast monsoon, which lasts from October to December.

The Meteorological Department said that Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal are going to receive moderate rains for five days from October 29 to November 2. Whereas Kerala and Mahe are likely to receive rain for four days from November 30 to 2. Apart from this, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam will receive rain from October 31 to November 2. At the same time, there is a possibility of rain in South Interior Karnataka on November 2. It is going to rain in Rayalaseema on November 1 and 2.

 

Apart from this, due to Western Disturbance, light to moderate rain will be seen over Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Muzaffarabad from October 31 to November 2 and Himachal Pradesh from November 1. On the other hand, rain is not expected in the rest of the states for the next five days.
