Jaipur. Sachin Pilot's reaction has come amidst the political turmoil going on in Rajasthan. He told an interview to an English magazine that I should make it clear, I am not joining BJP. I can say at this time that I will continue to work for my people.

 

 

The pilot said that the state police gave me a notice which contained allegations of treason. Which hurt my self-esteem. If you remember the Congress Party's manifesto for the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, we talked about the draconian treason law being denied. Here the Congress government was using it against its minister. My step was a voice against injustice.

 

 

I don't want any kind of power

 

 

I am not angry with Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, nor do I want any kind of post or power. We raised our voice against illegal mining. Pressurized the Vasundhara Raje government to end the lease of illegal mining. At the same time, after coming to power I wanted our promises made to the people in the elections to be fulfilled, but Gahtol Ji has done nothing. They too followed the same path.

 

 

Last year, the Rajasthan High Court amended the rule through which Raje allotted a government bungalow in Jaipur for the rest of his life. In which Gehlot government was asked to vacate the bungalow from him. Instead of following the order, Gehlot challenged it in the Supreme Court. During this time he did not allow me and my workers to work for the development of Rajasthan. Officers were told not to follow my instructions, files were not sent to me. Cabinet meetings were not held for months. What is the meaning of a post where one cannot fulfill the promises made to the public while sitting?

 

 

Informed senior leaders many times

Sachin Pilot said that he has informed about this many times to Avinash Pandey and top party leaders. I also talked to Gehlot Ji about this, but there were no meetings. There was no room for debate and discussion in the government.

 

 

It is not a matter of becoming a Chief Minister

With this, Sachin Pilot said that it is not a matter of becoming the Chief Minister. I claimed a stake for the post of Chief Minister after leading the party to victory in 2018. I had the right reasons. I took over the party when we were reduced to 21 out of 200 seats. For the next five years, Gehlot Ji did not utter a single word while I worked with the people, strengthening the cadre.

 

 

Haven't met Scindia for 6 months

Sachin Pilot told me that I have not met any BJP leader. I have not met Scindia in about six months. I have not even met Mathur.
