IAF Plane Crash: Two pilots were killed in a plane crash, trainer aircraft crashes during training

The Pilatus trainer aircraft of the Air Force Academy located in Dindigul, Telangana crashed. During this period two pilots died. The accident occurred at around 8:55 am in the Toopran town of Medak district of Telangana. The pilots consist of one instructor and one cadet.

 

The order was given by Court of Inquiry

According to news agency ANI, an Indian Air Force official said that a Pilatus PC 7 MK II aircraft crashed this morning during a routine training flight from AFA Hyderabad. It is with great regret that the Indian Air Force confirms that both pilots on board the aircraft have died.

 

There was no damage to any civilian life or property, the official said. A Court of Inquiry has been ordered to find out the cause of the accident. According to inputs from news agencies PTI and ANI, both pilots have died.

 

The accident happened near Toopran

Medak, Rohini SP said the plane crashed near Toopran. "It is a training aircraft from Dindigul airport. There were two people inside the aircraft, a trainer and an instructor. Airport staff and the CLUE team are at the spot. Fire personnel extinguished the fire," he told news agency ANI.

 

The cause of the accident is not known

"They are trying to find out if there are any survivors. They are searching the area to find out if any bodies are left. Further information is awaited," the SP said. The cause of the accident has not been known yet.
