Indian batsman Suryakumar Yadav is ranked second in the latest ICC Men's T20I rankings while Shreyas Iyer has made a big jump to break into the top-20. In the latest ICC T20I rankings released on Wednesday, Suryakumar continues to be at number two with 805 rating points, while Iyer has climbed six places to 19th position with 578 rating points. Iyer played the best innings of 64 runs in 40 balls in the fifth and final T20 against West Indies. Pakistan captain Babar Azam is currently in the top position.
In the bowlers' list, spinners Ravi Bishnoi and Kuldeep Yadav have also made huge jumps in the latest T20 rankings. Bishnoi, 21, took six wickets in two matches against the West Indies. Bishnoi has now jumped 50 places to 44th while Kuldeep, who took three wickets in the final match, has jumped 58 places to be at number 87. However, senior Bhuvneshwar Kumar has dropped a place to be at number nine.
South Africa's Reeza Hendrix has made significant gains in T20Is, moving up to 13th place with scores of 74 and 42 during their 2-0 series win over Ireland. South African spinner Keshav Maharaj has moved up 10 places to 18th in the bowlers' list, while South African pacer Lungi Ngidi (No 23) and New Zealand's Lockie Ferguson (No 31) also improved their places in the rankings.
