The biggest supply this year was to be of S-400 Triumf air defense system units. India ordered it in 2018 for $5.4 billion. India has now turned to western countries like France, America, and Israel along with Russia. The Indian Air Force has told a parliamentary panel that the Russia-Ukraine war has so affected its supplies that it has reduced its estimated capital expenditure on modernization for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2024, by almost a third compared to the previous fiscal year. reduced.
