These warm-up matches will be played in four cities across co-hosts India and Sri Lanka. Opportunity to test reserve players
The India 'A' team will play two T20 World Cup warm-up matches. This will give the team management an opportunity to test reserve players like Tilak Varma, Riyan Parag, and Ayush Badoni. These practice matches are non-competitive. Their results will not affect the rankings. Teams can use all 15 of their players, and there is no need to announce the final playing XI at the time of the toss.
