1. Rohit-Shubman's blast

The foundation of the resounding victory against Pakistan was laid by the pair of captain Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill. Rohit and Gill did not allow the fast bowlers of the neighboring country to dominate at all in the initial overs. While Rohit targeted Shaheen Afridi, Gill did not spare Naseem Shah and Harris Rauf. Rohit-Gill made a strong partnership of 121 runs for the first wicket and from here the Pakistan team went on the back foot.

 

2. Rahul-Kohli's blockbuster show

After losing the wickets of Rohit and Shubman Gill, the Indian team needed a partnership. In such a situation, the pair of KL Rahul and Virat Kohli took up the responsibility of sailing the team on the reserve day. Rahul, who returned to international cricket after about five months, started slowly but made a big splash after settling at the crease. At the same time, King Kohli's bat once again performed well against Pakistan. Rahul and Kohli made a record unbroken partnership of 233 runs for the third wicket, due to which the Indian team was successful in scoring 356 runs on the scoreboard. 3. Babar and Rizwan returned cheaply

The biggest threat to the Indian team was from the pair of Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan. However, the bowlers of Team India neither allowed Babar Azam to stay on the crease for long nor did they allow Rizwan to establish himself. Hardik Pandya bowled Babar and showed him the way to the pavilion. At the same time, Rizwan was dismissed by Shardul Thakur on the score of just 2 runs.
