During this, the KKR captain also praised Sunil Narine and Varun Chakraborty, who took 4 wickets for 44 runs in 8 overs.

 

Iyer further said that this effective player (Manish Pandey) rule, has helped us in this game. Manish was looking for an opportunity from day one. Today he got it. We achieved a commendable score. I just had to tell the boys that we could defend it with our bowling lineup.


 

KKR vs MI: KKR beat Mumbai Indians by 24 runs

Mumbai Indians won the toss and chose bowling against KKR. The Kolkata team, batting first, was all out for 169 runs in 19.5 overs. In response, Mumbai was all out for 145 runs in 18.5 overs and KKR won the match by 24 runs. For KKR, Mitchell Starc took 4 wickets in the match, while Varun Chakraborty, Sunil Narine, and Andre Russell got 2 wickets each.
