India has lashed out at the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC). Regarding Kashmir, India has said that the OIC has no right to comment on India's internal affairs. India has further said that the OIC has helplessly allowed itself to be held hostage by Pakistan. Pawan, the First Secretary of India's Permanent Mission in Geneva, has put India's point of view in the Council.
India has lashed out after Pakistan and IOC continuously made absurd statements on Kashmir. India has said that the council is aware that Pakistan is violating human rights and is occupied by the territory of India. Pakistan has failed to protect minorities. Pakistan's attitude towards the community like Hindus, Sikhs and Christians, and Ahmadiyyas is not hidden from the world. Even journalists are being treated badly for questioning what is going wrong in Pakistan.
In the 48th meeting of the UNHRC, India has said that the world knows Pakistan as openly supporting terrorists, helping them with training, money. Pakistan uses the council's forums to spread false and malicious propaganda against India. India is the world's largest democracy and India does not need any lessons from failed countries like Pakistan which is the epicenter of terrorism in the world.
Rejecting the statement made by OIC on the Kashmir issue from India, it has been said that Kashmir is an integral part of India. India has said that Pakistan has been using OIC for its agenda. In such a situation, the member countries of the OIC should decide whether they will continue to allow Pakistan to do so or not.
