Weather Update Today: Alert in these states including Uttarakhand, UP, and Bihar, the rain will continue here

In many states of the country, it is raining heavily during the month of Sawan. However, heavy rains have affected normal life in some states. On Wednesday, there was heavy rain in many states including Delhi, UP, Bihar, and MP. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert of heavy rainfall in many states including Uttarakhand, Maharashtra, and Gujarat.

 

 

Monsoon activities have intensified in the Gangetic plains. Moderate to heavy rains have been forecast at many places over North Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, parts of Bihar, and North Madhya Pradesh. Light to moderate rain with isolated heavy falls is possible over Gujarat, South-East Madhya Pradesh, Coastal Karnataka, Kerala, Uttarakhand, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, and Northeast India.

 

Alert in 10 districts of Bihar

 

An alert has been issued in 10 districts of Bihar on Thursday due to the possibility of heavy rain and lightning. People have been appealed to exercise caution. There is a possibility of heavy rain in Bettiah, Motihari, Gopalganj, Siwan, Supaul, Araria, Kishanganj, Purnia, Katihar and Bhagalpur.

 

Heavy rain in Delhi, will continue

 

Delhi-NCR rained heavily on Wednesday. It gave relief from the humidity and heat. The weather station at Safdarjung recorded more than two inches of rain throughout the day. According to the Meteorological Department, the weather pattern in Delhi will remain the same till July 26. It will be cloudy on Thursday as well and light to moderate rain is expected.

According to private weather agency Skymet, in the next 24 hours Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, parts of Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, North and Central Madhya Pradesh, Sikkim, Andaman, and the Nicobar Islands and Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Coastal areas, Odisha, Vidarbha, And Coastal Karnataka may experience light to moderate rain with heavy to very few places. ,

 

Light to moderate rain may occur over the rest of Northeast India, Delhi, East Rajasthan, Gujarat, Konkan & Goa, Interior Odisha, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Kerala, Lakshadweep, parts of North Bihar, South Bihar, Jharkhand, and Tamil Nadu.

 

Light rain is possible over the remaining parts of Bihar, Ladakh, Western parts of Rajasthan, Interior Karnataka, Rayalaseema, and Lakshadweep.
