Manoj Jha said that Ram Gopal made it clear in the meeting that if BSP becomes a part of India's alliance then SP will separate itself from the alliance. When RJD leader Jha was asked whether his concerns were heard in the meeting, he said that his views were heard and understood and Kharge Saheb said not to give importance to rumors.

Manoj Jha dismissed speculations that Lalu Prasad Yadav and Nitish Kumar's Janata Dal (U) expressed displeasure after some people proposed Kharge's name as the prime ministerial candidate and hence left the meeting. Manoj Jha clarified that no one is angry with anyone.
